Questions

Everything you were going to ask anyway

No fluff, no corporate hedging. Just straight answers.

The Basics

What actually is coaching, and how is it different from therapy?

Coaching is forward-focused. We're working on where you're headed, not diagnosing or treating a mental health condition. I'm not your therapist in these sessions, even though I'm a licensed one — this is a different kind of relationship, with a different kind of container.

If something comes up that sounds like it needs clinical treatment, I'll say so directly and point you toward the right kind of support.

I don't live in a state where you're licensed to practice therapy. Can I still work with you?

Yes- that's actually the whole reason Reclaim & Rise exists. Coaching isn't regulated by state licensure the way therapy is, so I can work with you no matter where you live.

Do you take insurance?

No. Coaching isn't billed to insurance- it's private pay, same as most coaching relationships.

Can I use my FSA or HSA to pay for sessions?

Generally, no. FSA and HSA funds are reserved for treating a diagnosed medical condition, and coaching isn't that by design-there's no diagnosis or treatment plan involved. If you think your situation is an exception, check with your plan administrator before booking, but most people won't be able to use those funds here.

What actually happens in a session?

We talk. Directly. I'll ask questions that get past the surface answer, push back when something doesn't add up and hold you to the goals you actually said you wanted- not just the comfortable version of them.

If it's ever relevant, I may bring in breathwork as part of our work together- but that's not the default and we'd talk about it first.

Sessions & Packages

What are my options for individual coaching?

A single 60-minute session is $200. If you know you want to go deeper, a 3-session package is $500 (a $100 savings over paying one at a time).

Need extra time? You can add an additional 30 minutes to any individual session for $50.

What are my options for couples coaching?

A 60-minute session is $250, or a 90-minute session is $300 if you want more room to work through something. A 3-session package is also available for couples ready to commit to the process.

How often do we meet?

Weekly or biweekly is typical, but it's built around what you actually need- not a fixed script.

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancellations and rescheduling require at least 24 hours' notice. Canceling or rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice is subject to a cancellation fee equal to the full price of the session.

Getting Started

What's the first step?

Book a 30-minute consult call for $30. We'll talk through what's actually going on, what you're hoping changes, and whether this is the right fit- for both of us. If you book a session afterward, that $30 is credited toward it.

What should I expect on the consult call?

This isn't a sales pitch and it isn't therapy intake either. It's a real conversation, built around a few things:

— What's actually going on for you right now and what you want to be different
— A little about how I work: direct, honest, no script and what that looks like in practice
— What coaching is and isn't, so you're not walking in with therapy expectations.
— The logistics: cadence, packages, pricing, and how booking actually works

By the end, you should know whether this is a fit and if it's not, I'll tell you that directly instead of letting you figure it out three sessions in.

What if I'm not sure coaching is what I need?

Say that on the consult call. I'd rather tell you honestly that this isn't the right fit than take your money for something that won't actually help.

What if I already have my voice- I just want to work with you?

You don't have to be lost, stuck, or rebuilding from scratch to be a good fit here. Some of the people I work with best already know exactly who they are- they just want a real thinking partner, someone who'll push back, and a space that isn't performative.

If that's you: good. Come as you are. This isn't reserved for people who are rebuilding from the ground up- it's for anyone who wants to keep growing on purpose.

Still have a question?

Just ask. No script, no chatbot- you'll actually hear from me.
